Louis Marek Portfolio

Welcome to my portfolio, I really hope you enjoy looking around. For a little background, I grew up loving films and obsessively watching the same films over and over again. When I was gifted a camera at the age of 14 I began shooting street photography after studding the magnum photographers. When I was able to study film making, and create short films of my own, I found that I was able to utilise the versatility in camera placement from street photography and my obsessive watching of films (still carried on to this day) has helped me understand pacing and emotional character development needed in film making
